Botulinum Toxin Type A and Fillers
At Precision Dentistry, we take a comprehensive approach to patient care. This includes offering our patients the latest in Botulinum Toxin Type A cosmetic and therapeutic, and dermal filler treatments. Experienced in an extensive range of dental procedures, Dr. Fung is also highly skilled and trained to administer injectables to treat facial muscles and structures in and around the mouth, head and neck. These treatments often have a dual benefit, offering patients therapeutic care while also providing aesthetic results.
There are services that patients should only get through a dental professional. Those include Botulinum Toxin Type A and dermal fillers in the facial and perioral (lip) area. Millions of people use Botulinum Toxin Type A: OnabotulinumtoxinA (Botox®), IncobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin®) or AbobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport®) and the JUVEDERM® line of products to achieve a more relaxed and smooth facial appearance, while still having the freedom of expression.
Botulinum Toxin Type A and dermal fillers can be amazing tools for patients who see fine lines and wrinkles creeping into their smiles and other parts of the face. An attractive smile can significantly improve your image and self-confidence. That is why so many people opt for BOTOX and dermal fillers.

Botulinum Toxin Type A Therapeutic
Botulinum Toxin Type A is a purified protein [onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox®), incobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin®) or abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport®)], which is injected into targeted muscles. Botulinum Toxin Type A is FDA approved and widely used to alleviate TMJ disorder, migraine headaches, and cervical dystonia (neck pain), and other issues. This substance can temporarily block signals that cause muscle tightness and movements. That blockage will relax the muscles in that area, getting rid of the wrinkles and fine lines that are there. The full effect of Botulinum Toxin Type A takes 3-5 days and will remain effective for 3-6 months. It only takes a few minutes to perform the injections, and the untreated facial muscles can contract to allow normal expression.
